If a product is normally stored frozen or refrigerated, ship samples on ice packs or frozen, in an insulated container, to arrive at the lab within 24-48 hours. If a product is normally stored at room temperature, ship samples in an appropriate container to arrive at the lab within 72 hours. Notify the lab by fax, phone or email to expect samples. With the samples, include a letter describing the tests you want performed (use the ILC Micro-Chem Sample submission form), a purchase order number if applicable as well as contact information.

Pasteurized and similar products—0°C to +4°C
Spoiled products*—0°C to +4°C
*Make sure that spoiled units are shipped in properly sealed packaging for protection against leakage.
